Want to join a band? You have options!
Full rock band or vocalist-only, beginner to advanced, there are many paths to making music in groups at Performance High!
Adult Band Camp Accelerator
Don’t play an instrument… but you’d like to try? Our Adult Band Camp Accelerator offers you the opportunity to try one, two, three, or all four of the main rock band instruments in a fun 2-hour group lesson! The more you sign up for, the cheaper each lesson is! After this, you may decide to join a Beginning Adult Band. Minimum 2, maximum 5 people per class.
Saturday June 15, 2024: Drums 11-1pm, Bass 1:30-3:30pm
Saturday June 22, 2024:
Electric Guitar 11-1pm, Keys 1:30-3:30pm
Fees (member/non-member): 1 instrument: $50/60. 2 instruments: add $30. 3 instruments: add $25. 4 instruments: add $15
Beginning Adult Band
Beginning Adult Band is for anyone who prefers to move at a comfortable pace with structure and extensive learning resources. The approach is customized specifically to the needs and interests of the people in the group, and the size is strictly limited to 5 members to ensure lots of personal attention.
If you already know which instrument you want to play, you are not required to attend the Adult Band Camp Accelerator – although you certainly can!
Band members will play songs of their choice, subject to guidance from an experienced coach to maximize fun and success. Performances will be scheduled when members feel ready. Only one spot left!
Schedule: Saturdays 1-3pm in Denver starting April 20, 2024
Fee: $225/mo member, $240/mo non-member
Intermediate Adult Bands
This is a great option for people who already play an instrument a little, and singers who are comfortable singing on time and on pitch to live music.
Three intermediate bands are currently running. Some bands have spots open now, and additional spots may open up in the future. Bands range in size from 5 to 9 members. Contact us to learn what spots are open now, or to join a waiting list to be notified when a spot opens. You’re welcome to drop in and check out a band any time – just contact us.

Wednesdays 7-8:30pm: Brit and the Boys
Saturday afternoons: New band coming as soon as we have a full group – probably summer 2024! Contact us to get on the waiting list.

Pop Choir
Returning in fall 2024 for its third season, Pop Choir is a social, no-audition, no-experience-required avenue for singing pop and rock songs in harmony, and making friends in the process. Then, you’ll be backed by a live band at the final performance!
NEW for 2024: You’ll pick and vote on the songs YOU want to do prior to the session, and Performance High will create custom arrangements just for you!
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 7-9pm Sep 17-Nov 19 with optional happy hour before
Performance: Sunday Nov 24, 2024
Fee: One-time fee of $195 (members), $210 (non-members)

Advanced Vocal Band
This new audition-based vocalist-focused band, launching in fall 2024, is for intermediate to advanced vocalists who want a band experience that is laser-focused on singers. We’ll focus on tight multi-part harmonies and professional blocking and performance skills, with track accompaniment during rehearsals and performances. Minimum group size: 3. Maximum group size: 6.
Genres and schedule will depend on participating members, so contact us to register your interest, availability, and musical preferences.
