Adult Bands
We’re match-making for the fall session!
We are gathering interest for the fall session. We anticipate having at least four bands with different musical leanings, plus a harmony-heavy vocalist-only band with backing tracks. Tell us you’re interested and we’ll get in touch to learn more about the kind of band you’d like to be in and what instrument you’d like to play!
Adult Bands
You don’t have to already play an instrument to join a band – you can learn as you go! But we expect that most band members will also want to sing, since that’s what we’re all about here at Performance High!
Schedule: optional all-band kickoff/social the last week of August (exact date TBD)
12 rehearsals starting the first week of September
Exact times and dates will depend on band member and coach availability, but are expected to be Tues/Wed/Thu evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays
Showcase on Sunday November 24 at Roots Music Project in Boulder
Location: Most bands will be in Denver, but we will have one band in Broomfield on Thursday nights.
Member Rate: $499 one-time payment, or $185/mo for 3 months.
Non-Member Rate: $549 one-time payment, or $200/mo for 3 months.
Advanced Vocal Band
This new audition-based vocalist-focused band, launching in fall 2024, is for intermediate to advanced vocalists who want a band experience that is laser-focused on singers. We’ll focus on tight multi-part harmonies and professional blocking and performance skills, with track accompaniment during rehearsals and performances. Minimum group size: 4. Maximum group size: 6.
Genres and schedule will depend on participating members, so contact us to register your interest, availability, and musical preferences.
Rehearsals: TBD depending on participants
Member Rate: $499 one-time payment, or $185/mo for 3 months.
Non-Member Rate: $549 one-time payment, or $200/mo for 3 months.
Pop Choir
Returning in fall 2024 for its third season, Pop Choir is a social, no-audition, no-experience-required avenue for singing pop and rock songs in harmony, and making friends in the process. Then, you’ll be backed by a live band at the final performance!
NEW for 2024: You’ll pick and vote on the songs YOU want to do prior to the session, and Performance High will create custom arrangements just for you!
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 7-9pm Sep 17-Nov 19 with optional happy hour before
Performance: Sunday Nov 24, 2024
Fee: One-time fee of $195 (members), $210 (non-members)

Adult Band Camp Accelerator
Don’t play an instrument… but you’d like to try? Our Adult Band Camp Accelerator offers you the opportunity to try one, two, three, or all four of the main rock band instruments in a fun 2-hour group lesson! The more you sign up for, the cheaper each lesson is – as little as $15/hr! Minimum 2, maximum 5 people per class.
Saturday June 15, 2024: Drums 11-1pm, Bass 1:30-3:30pm
Saturday June 22, 2024:
Electric Guitar 11-1pm, Keys 1:30-3:30pm
Fees (member/non-member): 1 instrument: $50/60. 2 instruments: add $30. 3 instruments: add $25. 4 instruments: add $15
