Tanner Morrison

Junior Vocal Coach

Dedicated to music from a young age, Tanner has loved to write and produce music as a pastime – giving out mixtapes, inviting friends to record, and organizing small concerts for his friends to build community and deepen connections.

Tanner discovered a love for singing after joining a local choir. He had a passion for performing solos, and decided to take a step towards contemporary singing by reaching out to Performance High founder and lead instructor Adrienne Osborn for coaching. Through years of study, he developed the ability to sing in mix, and gained confidence in and appreciation for his voice. He was eventually invited to join the Performance High faculty as a Junior Vocal Coach and is currently working towards IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) accreditation.

Tanner appreciates the technical aspects of the voice as a physiological system, and also values singing as a form of self discovery and holistic self expression, where mind, body, and spirit become one.

As a singer, Tanner enjoys pushing his own boundaries and learning new things to do with his voice. He loves singing in a variety of genres, but is currently the frontman for the Denver/Colorado Springs based progressive metal band ÆTHRAXIA and also sings and plays bass with Performance High’s very own band, Pearl Clutcher.
