Alissa is a storyteller at heart, and she’s passionate about empowering others. Whether it’s in building healthy vocal infrastructure with her students, boosting the confidence of her loved ones, or outlining holistic health plans for friends and clients – Alissa seeks to help others live their best lives.
Alissa began vocal work around nine years of age, moving from a competitive dance track toward singing and performance. She traveled the Southeast performing with the renowned all-girls troupe, Entertainment Revue (ER). She received classical training and led Berkeley Preparatory’s ‘Singers’ in high school. At UFlorida, Alissa pursued competitive collegiate a cappella with ‘No Southern Accent’. Varsity Vocals awarded her with “Outstanding Choreography” in 2012, and her group won awards at regionals twice.
Alissa is a certified barre, dance, and group fitness instructor. She taught in Denver from 2016-2020, but began her own fitness journey in 2012, leading her to gather rich experience and knowledge in nutrition, fitness, and holistic health. She was also a lead member of Denver’s legacy pro a-cappella group, the 17th Avenue Allstars, from 2018 to 2023. She managed the group’s online presence, choreographed shows, and managed all costuming.
Alissa has original music available on all streaming platforms – as a soloist, ‘Alissa Ann’, and with her collaborative projects, ‘Pathic’ and ‘XVRS’. She is a published and recognized writer, editor, and content creator with a B.S. in Journalism & Communications. Alissa has a decade of experience working in corporate therapeutic technology, the entertainment industry, and the non-profit sector.
