About Adrienne

Adrienne Osborn is a vocalist and performer. A vocalist with hundreds of expressions and thousands of colors in varied styles including rock, jazz, soul, and electronica. A vocalist capable of heavenly harmonies and hellish roarings. A compelling performer whether a cappella, in front of a jazz trio, or with a full backing band in front of thousands of people. A performer that will move you emotionally or physically... or even both at the same time.

But Adrienne is also a gifted lyricist and songwriter, and a multi-instrumentalist (keys, bass, and percussion). She writes and records original songs, records vocals for musicians all over the US and Europe, and composes music for a film/TV music library.

She also loves to help improve the music careers of people around her by giving what she can best: voice and performance coaching. She teaches voice and performance skills to students in Colorado and around the world via Skype, including American Idol participants as high as the top ten, and various professional musicians.

She is the keyboard player for live karaoke band Guitar Villians, the bass player for rock band Driving Karma, and the lead vocalist for a modern pop/rock/dance cover band. In the past, she has performed vocally with – and in some cases, founded and managed – Spontaneous Thin Air Radio (original soulfully energized funk rock), Girls on Top! (funk/R&B/Motown), Bola Abimbola and Wazobia (Afropop / King Sunny Ade), Dois (soulful world jazz), That 80's Band (80's cover tunes), and The Fever (wedding cover band), among others. Her performance highlights include performing on the main stage at the Telluride Jazz Festival with Bola Abimbola and playing at the Republican National Convention with That 80's Band. She was also a percussion member of a very loud and very fun Brazilian bateria based in Boulder, and has done her share of a cappella singing.

Adrienne's published discography includes The Phoenix, The Flame, a full-length album with funk-rock project STAR (spontaneous thin air radio), with whom she has also recorded a video for the single “Star Shine,” and an EP with Soulful World Jazz trio Dois. In 2010 she released an instructional 2-DVD set entitled The Zen of the Stage: Performing in the Zone, which is available on Amazon.com. Her current recording projects include a full-length standard and original jazz album with violinist and mandolinist Pete Hartley, writing TV/film music for Studio 51 Music / Pacifica, and a full-length album co-write with composer Panos Kolias.

In previous lives, Adrienne was an exchange student in Bilbao, Spain; a national-champion world-ranked waterskier, and an IT professional in web development and project management.

Adrienne is married to Micah McKee and lives in Boulder, CO.
